I am a self-taught artist. I was born in 1973 in Chandigarh, India.  I took to art as soon as I was able to hold a crayon. Heavily influenced by my father, also an artist, and my Nani, who taught me crafts, I grew an appreciation for art and crafts at a very early age. 

Over the years I have worked with several mediums including:  watercolors, oil, acrylics, charcoal and mixed media. 

I love to incorporate my memories of the "simple life" in India into my fine art pieces.  I can find inspiration in just about anything; however, my main inspiration comes from having a heart to help the many underprivileged men, women and children around the world.  While we continue to advance in technology, music, politics etc., there are still those who do not have the simple things we take for granted every day, things like food, water, education and basic human rights.  I hope to use my art to bring awareness to what may not be obvious to us in our everyday life…the simple things we  may forget about in the confusion of the everyday chaos. 

I am also available to create custom Greeting Cards and Invitation Cards for
Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, High School Graduation, Holidays and other Special Occasions.  

In addition to creating my artwork, I also enjoy reading, writing and especially spending time with my family.  I currently live in Lafayette, Indiana with my wonderful husband Graham and two awesome sons, Tony and Gabriel.
